I went to a couple in Shanghai. One was 70 kuai very good. Other 110 kuai. High end place. Very good cut and also massage, wash hair well, cup of coffee etc. I liked that place very much despite it being in a shopping mall in Minhang District. Full Comment>>

How did this even happen. He must have introduced his parents to the fake wife I guess. She must have 'had' the baby by then. Full Comment>>

Articles : zhejiangguy commented on news Silent Agreement: The Four Unwritten Rules of Courtship in China

I think an issue in China is the fact that people respect people with money despite however dishonest the means were to get there. Guys get face despite the fact that their parents bought their car, built their house and paid dowdry money to in-laws to acquire a wife....this is the reality of the situation. All ... Articles : zhejiangguy commented on news Silent Agreement: The Four Unwritten Rules of Courtship in China

A lot of chinese women I meet are the driving force behind relationships and success. Ihe men are simply a vehicle for driving the success. It is like in football terms when someone wants to buy a club they will use figureheads to act as a legitimate means of driving the agenda forward. Look at Man Utd- a consortium ... Full Comment>>

Around China : zhejiangguy commented on news From March 15, Goods Bought Online Can Be Returned Within 7 Days Without Reason

Is this relating to taobao or just general online selling? If it relates to taobao it is a massive step in the right direction. I would imagine a large percentage of online purchases occur using taobao in any case or that other one which is called JD or something similar. Full Comment>>

Teaching-Translating : zhejiangguy commented on news Is Teaching English in China Worthwhile?

I think being a teacher that is moving to China for the first time and choosing to live in a 2nd or 3rd tier city is a big mistake. I used to live in Shanghai and now in Hangzhou (have also stayed in small cities in zhejiang) and I think it is a big challenge for a foreigner with little mandarin ability to live in ... Around China : zhejiangguy commented on news Foreigners in China Seeking Employment Face Difficulties

This article is really quite atrocious. How many foreigners are in China-it is such a low number versus overall percentage of the population! I think that China will struggle to fill positions in the future with the candidates of the quality that is required. The visa situation is baffling at the best of times ... Full Comment>>

Articles : zhejiangguy commented on news Teaching English in China: Is it Still Worthwhile?

I think in the bigger cities standards are starting to become higher meaning the quality of teachers has to be higher too. In tier 2 and especially 3 cities it is hard for schools to get enough quality thus they have no choice but to employ poorer quality candidates. Full Comment>>

Around China : zhejiangguy commented on news Foreigner Had 220,000 RMB Stolen From Bank Account

I really dont understand how this has happened. Very sketchy indeed. Did the guy have online banking and his account hacked or was his card skimmed. Im sure bank has to pay this as it seems that the man isnt at fault unless there is more to this story than what is written above. Full Comment>>
